About Max

Max is a very loving, gentle, and sweet boy who deserves a safe home where he can finally experience the love and care he has always deserved. He has been through severe abuse and neglect in his past, and when I rescued him in July, he was extremely underweight and in terrible condition. Despite everything he has endured, Max has never lost his gentle nature. He is not aggressive and has never shown a desire to hurt anyone. He is wonderful with children, other dogs, and cats, and he gets along well with other animals. Max can be shy and timid when meeting new people or entering unfamiliar situations, so he needs a little patience and time to feel comfortable. Once he begins to trust you, his loving personality shines through. He can be energetic, playful, and affectionate, and he enjoys spending time with the people and animals he feels safe around. Max has been neutered and is up to date on his vaccinations. I have done my best to give him the care, safety, and love he needed after his traumatic past, but due to my upcoming move and circumstances beyond my control, I am desperately trying to find him a safe place where he can continue healing and thrive. Max is so much more than what he has been through. He deserves a chance at a happy life with people who will treat him with kindness, patience, and compassion. I am reaching out because I want to make sure he is safe and properly cared for, and I am hoping your organization may be able to help him. I would be incredibly grateful for any assistance, whether through intake, foster placement, or help finding a suitable rescue or permanent home for him.
