*2- year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix *neutered *weighs 63 pounds *heartworm negative *owner surrender; moving to Puerto Rico and can't take him along *dog friendly - per previous owner *kid friendly with all ages - per previous owner *cat friendly - per previous owner *livestock friendly - per previous owner *knows sit, down, and paw commands *owner noted 'he's a good dog, likes to play, good with others, and he loves to run.' *Sheski is overwhelmed here as the shelter atmosphere is quite scary for him *he has good leash manners and follows along beside you as you walk along *may act shy at first; he's easily handled and once you take him outside he quickly shows you his sweet side *welcomes all love and attention *took treats easily from my hand *very submissive and wants to please Sheski is a handsome boy. He's can be shy at at first but he's friendly. He is just overwhelmed in the noisy shelter environment and tends to relax once he is outside. He may go sit back behind his bed when he first meets you but once you leash him up he follows right along beside you. He's still trying to adapt to everything and get more comfortable. Once he is gets more settled in here his personality will show. He's really looking for a friend to trust. He was surrendered by no fault of his own as the owner is moving out of the states. Sheski is ready to leave the noisy shelter life behind for the comforts of a home and a family. Can you give him a loving place to call home?
