About Chestnut

You wouldn't know it from her shy smile - but Ms. Chestnut is a wiggly girl full of love and is ALWAYS happy to see you. Chestnut came with her sister Praline-and out of the two- she is the most adventurous and the most vocal :). Her wants in life are fairly simple- a snug bed- plenty of treats and someone to cuddle her goodnight. She is learning how to play with toys - and loves anything with a squeaker. The world is a big loud place when you are a tiny puppy in a shelter- but her spirits are high- and she is always looking out the window. Would you like a forever ray of sunshine ? Ms. Chestnut will always see you as hers. P.S. Chestnut is already learning to potty train! Hello there the adoption fee is $30.00 CHECK ONLY it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 30 day window can be extended however A VETS LETTER IS NEEDED TO EXPLAIN THE REASON WHY. Your contract is not fulfilled and your adoption of the pet cannot be successfully closed until proof of sterilization and vaccination is provided to us from the adopter. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4:30 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
