About Bogue

Rogue needs immediate help! We are seeking a foster or adopter for him. Bogue is a 5-year-old mixed-breed guy who has put in some serious work to become the best version of himself. He has completed a board-and-train program with certified master trainers and is now reliable off leash - a huge accomplishment that speaks to how much potential this guy has! Bogue does okay with other dogs, but he would be happiest as a single dog or potentially with a compatible adult male dog. Proper, slow introductions with new dogs are important, and the same goes for meeting new people. Bogue does best when he is given the opportunity to take things at his own pace rather than being thrown into unfamiliar situations. Because of his needs, we are not recommending a home with children or cats. His ideal adopter will be someone who understands dogs, respects introductions, and appreciates the value of structure and clear communication. Bogue is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered, and his extensive training means his new family gets to start with a fantastic foundation already in place. He may not be the dog for everyone - but for the right person, Bogue could be an incredibly rewarding companion. He doesn't need someone looking for the easiest dog in the room.
