About Bruno

(DOB 10/09/2025) Bruno is smart, playful, energetic, and eager to please. He loves attention and happily soaks up pets. He's already house and crate-trained, can live happily without a fenced yard, and could make a great condo/apartment companion. He'd love a person who works from home and has time for plenty of walks, adventures, and snuggle breaks. His leash manners are still a work in progress, though; he sometimes thinks the walk is a race and his human is just trying to keep up! With patience, practice, and routine, he can keep working toward becoming a more polite walking partner. Bruno has been fine around cats and has done well around a big dog, although he hasn't had enough close dog interactions to know how he'll do with every canine friend. He tends to prefer women, but patient men can win him over, too. He can be protective of his favorite human, so proper introductions and a family willing to help him feel secure are important. Young kids aren't Bruno's jam, so he's looking for an adult only home where he can relax and be the center of his people's world. He also has some strong feelings about his food and treats. He is of the mindset what's his is his. So, his new family will need to manage thoughtfully and work on positive, reward-based guidance. With Bruno, you've got yourself a loyal, loving, four-legged shadow! He's a professional snuggler, enthusiastic belly-rub enthusiast, lap dog extraordinaire, and full-time supervisor of whatever his favorite human happens to be doing. He'll even let you know when it's bedtime, then snooze quietly in his crate all night. Now that's a furry family member with big love to share!
