About Missie

Meet Missie, a charming 6-year-old Yorkshire Terrier weighing 13 pounds who is looking for a loving Forever Home. This sweet girl has a wonderful personality and enjoys the best of both worlds. She can be playful and curious when it's time for fun, but she's also a self-proclaimed couch potato who loves relaxing with her favorite people. Missie is smart, gentle, quiet, and always happy to share plenty of kisses with those she loves. Missie gets along well with other dogs and children, making her a great companion for many families. She has not been tested with cats. She already knows the sit and stay commands and enjoys spending time with her people, whether that's snuggling on the couch or being included in everyday activities. Her affectionate nature and sweet temperament make her a joy to have around. Missie is not fully house-trained yet, so she will need a patient family willing to continue working with her on her house manners. With consistency, encouragement, and love, she is sure to continue making progress. Missie's adoption donation is $400, which includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, and heartworm prevention. She is heartworm-negative and ready to find the loving home she deserves. If you're interested in making Missie a part of your family, please visit https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html to learn more and submit an application.
