About Sandy

Meet Sandy Sandy is a 10-year-old Chihuahua who weighs just 8 pounds, and she's looking for a family to love her for the rest of her life. Sandy came to Fur Fun Rescue with two other dogs after her owner got married and the new husband decided the dogs had to go. Through no fault of her own, this little girl found herself needing a new home. Sandy loves people and attention and gets along well with other small dogs. She enjoys going for walks, exploring her physically fenced yard, and playing with her favorite squeaky toys. She's also a good little housemate! Sandy is house trained and can be left loose in the house when her foster parents are away. At night, she sleeps in bed with her foster mom, and as the weather gets colder, she's especially fond of snuggling under a fuzzy blanket. Sandy is ready for a home where she can enjoy the simple pleasures of life: a little playtime, a nice walk, a warm bed, and someone who loves having her close. If you have room in your heart and under your blankets for an 8-pound cuddle buddy, Sandy would love to meet you! Sandy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested and microchipped.
