About Hope

ե%90%BE MEET HOPE - A LITTLE MIRACLE LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HOME! %90%BEե At just 7%BD weeks old, Hope already has quite the rescue story! Her mama was on the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter here in the High Desert when a wonderful Good Samaritan stepped in and saved her life. But little did her rescuer know, she wasn't just saving one life - she was saving SEVEN! %9D%A4%8F To everyone's surprise, Mama was pregnant and soon gave birth to six beautiful puppies! The Good Samaritan lovingly cared for Mama and her babies until the puppies were nearly eight weeks old and weaned. Unfortunately, she couldn't keep them all. Four puppies had already been given away when Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue stepped in and welcomed Hope and her sister Ruby into our rescue family. And OH MY GOODNESS! These two are the sweetest, snuggliest, puppy-breath babies you could ever dream of! ٴ Hope is a beautiful German Shepherd mix who will grow into a large dog. We're hoping to find her a family with a spacious backyard or an active lifestyle filled with hikes, beach adventures, playtime, and plenty of love! As a working-breed mix, Hope will need a family committed to providing the exercise, enrichment, training, and companionship she'll need to thrive. %90%BE Hope's Adoption Details: * 7%BD weeks old * Female German Shepherd mix * First round of vaccinations completed * Microchipped * Expected to grow into a large breed * Spay surgery covered by our rescue at Simi Valley Spay Neuter Clinic when she reaches six months of age Hope's mama was given a second chance at life, and because of that beautiful act of kindness, Hope is here today.
