It is hard to do this, but my dog needs to be rehomed as soon as possible. I am unable to care for her or give her the time and attention that she deserves. I just had twins and they are now 9 months old, and it seems since I brought my babies home from the hospital, my dog has gone into a depression and won't move out of one spot on the couch all day, not even for food or to go outside anymore. If I can't find a home soon for her, unfortunately I will have to resort to bringing her to the local shelter where they will most likely be put to sleep. Her name is Rosie, she is 3 years old and is spayed and microchipped. Rosie's date of birth is 8-16-2023. I have all of her vet forms. She has only had her puppy shots and first year rabies shot. Rosie got spayed when she was 6 months old. I got her from a backyard breeder that was my friends neighbor when she was 6 weeks old and she spent her first two years of her life with our Kitty that we Also had to re-home who trained her And became best friends. She hasn't been around any other dogs since she was a puppy since she plays rough! Last I checked she was 60 pounds in July 2025. She loves being outside and sunbathing. She used to be very energetic and want to play and run all the time, but now she is very skittish and anxious. Rosie needs some training, including leash training. Rosie is a full blood pitbull, so she is short haired and gets seasonal allergies bad. She also has a sensitive tummy and allergies to chicken meal so she needs to be eating high protein food(that we can't afford for her) I have been getting store brand dog food lately because that's all that I can afford anymore and it makes her very sick where she vomits after eating and throughout the day. Rosie is good around kids and babies but is very protective. She was a good nanny dog for the longest time and would just lay there and watch over. Now she gets scared if anyone moves. Rosie likes to play fetch And tug of war, but doesn't like to let go, and will steal all of your stuffed animals and tear them apart! Rosie likes to cuddle and is dominant to where she thought she was a lap dog and if given the opportunity would get the upper hand and climb on your shoulders and show her dominance. Rosie is a very quiet dog and doesn't bark (have only heard her bark a handful of times and it was when she felt threatened from visitors in the house or people that she didn't know who approached us.) She is kennel trained and knows to use the potty outside, but gets so stressed that she will do it wherever she is sitting. I don't have the time to ever be able to take her out to give her the exercise that she needs to stay healthy. Rosie is still very young and fully of life and energy but needs a good home to be able to fullfil that happy life. Please contact me if you are interested in giving Rosie the happy life that she deserves! We are located in Salem, Oregon I am only asking for a small rehoming fee for her to be rescued. I don't know how much to ask, so just anything that you can . Thank you for taking the time to read my post!
