About Hummus

Adoption Fee: 50
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Name: Hummus (previously Callie) Age: About 4 years old Sex: Female Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: American Longhair Color/Markings: Tabby Tortoiseshell Weight: About 9lbs Personality: Hummus is a very friendly, affectionate, and moderately active cat. She enjoys watching the outdoors from a window, chasing lizards in the backyard, and playing with toys. She gets bursts of energy throughout the day and is known to have the occasional 'zoomies.' Hummus is also quite vocal and enjoys interacting with people. She loves being brushed and petted and generally tolerates nail trims and baths when necessary. Household Compatibility: Hummus does very well with adults, children, and even new visitors to the home. According to her previous owner, she does not get along well with other cats. Her experience with dogs is unknown. She has spent time outdoors in a fenced backyard and enjoys exploring there, but she is uncomfortable near the front of the house and does not walk on a leash. She will scratch at certain things, but will immediately stop if you call her out. I have tried the plastic/sticky cat scratch furniture protectors, but it doesn't work on her and she'll scratch it instead. Aluminum foil works. Health Information Veterinarian: Saint Cloud 192 Pet Hospital (according to the previous owner) Vaccinations: Hummus was vaccinated when she was spayed, but I do not have current records and her vaccinations may no longer be up to date. Microchipped: No Medical Conditions: None known Current Medications: None Special Dietary Needs: None Daily Routine Dry Food: Purina ONE Indoor Advantage (Turkey or Salmon Recipe) Wet Food: Purina Fancy Feast Petites Litter: Tractor Supply Pelletized Horse Bedding (pine pellets). A 40 lb bag typically lasts about 5 months for about $7. Feeding Schedule: Morning (8:00-10:00 AM): Half of a Purina Fancy Feast Petite wet food serving Afternoon (around 1:00 PM): 1 cup of dry food, which she grazes on throughout the day Favorite Toys: Crinkle balls Rope toys Reason for Rehoming This decision has been very difficult for me. Due to ongoing financial challenges and the possibility of relocating for work, I can no longer provide Hummus with the stability and attention she deserves. I care deeply about her and want to find a loving home where she can receive the time, affection, and care she needs to thrive. Rehoming Fee & Included Supplies The rehoming fee includes Hummus and all of her current supplies to help make the transition as easy as possible as well as make sure the adopter has serious inquiries only: Litter box Remaining pine pellet litter Dry food Rolling dry food storage container Remaining wet food Cat carrier backpack Assorted toys Squishmallow pet bed Self-warming cat bed Multi-tier cat tree Two ceramic strawberry-shaped food/water bowls with stand Collars Leash Cat brushes Nail clippers Full box of puppy pads (used to line the bottom litter box tray)
