Biggie and Smalls look like two retired men who have been arguing about the thermostat since 1987. They are not grumpy. That's just the face they came with, and it is the funniest thing about them. They spent the first 10 and 8 years of their lives with the same family, and in May they were surrendered to the shelter together. Everything else about their lives changed overnight, but they walked in side by side and have not been apart since. They've been in a foster home ever since, we've gotten them both medically vetted, and we're working on Biggie's weight. He's taking it about as well as you'd expect from a man who looks that unimpressed. What you won't see from across the room is how sweet they are. They're friendly, they're hilarious, and they lean into every bit of attention you give them like it's their full-time job. You will get a lot of squinty, disapproving looks, and every one of them is secretly a love letter. They're a bonded pair, and after a lifetime together, they get to retire together. You're not adopting one dog and a roommate. You're adopting the whole act. If you've got room for two scowling, adorable old men who will absolutely take over your couch, they're ready for you.
