About Wopper

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Whopper is a distinguished gentleman at about 4 years old and 109 lbs. Don't let his size fool you, he is a bit overweight, and he needs help on his weight-loss journey. Is he still a big dog? Yes. Is he a great dog? Also, yes. He has met other dogs here and has done well with both males and females and respects boundaries given by other dogs. He is one of our best walkers on leash-- If he pulls too much on leash, he is easy to correct and get back at a nice pace. Whopper loves attention from his favorite people and will cuddle up into your lap and start licking your face all over. He is very treat motivated and so far we have learned he knows 'sit'. We aren't too sure on his history with kids or cats, but we hope he could do well with proper introductions. He is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $185 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
