About Boogie

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Boogie is a very smart boy! He is about 56 pounds, and a year and a half old. He is a young and active boy who enjoys going on adventures and exploring. He loves to smell EVERYTHING! He loves to play with other dogs and has done well on meetings. He can be a jumpy, rough player so his friends would need to be ok with that. He also responds well to dog corrections. He pulls on leash when excited but does well when a little time is spent directing him. Boogie is really attentive and checks in with his people for guidance. He even already knows how to sit! He is very treat motivated and eager to please so polishing up his training would a breeze. He definitely would do best in an active home with lots of engagement. He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $185 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
