About Jack

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Jack is a matured guy at about 6 years old and about 75 lbs. This hunk of love walks decently on leash, loves every stranger he's met, and loves to roll around in the grass. Jack is a good mix of 'ready for an adventure' and 'lazy days in the house' which would be perfect for someone who is moderately active. Jack came to us due to no fault of his own and he is now looking for a place that will love him forever. He has met dogs here and has done best with respectful, dog-savvy dogs. We are unsure of his history with cats, but we recommend a home with kids who are 8+years. He is a lovely boy who is very treat motivated and has shown us he knows 'sit'. If you're looking for a happy-go-lucky guy with a heart of gold, Jack is the one for you! He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $185 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
