About Everest

Please prepare to provide the following information to the staff about you, your family, the city in which you live, other pets, your fenced yard, and whatever else will help identify your family as a good match. You are encouraged to call the shelter for updated information and availability, and to answer your specific questions. Everest is a young 7 month old boy who weighs about 50 lbs. We are still getting to know him as he is still very shy in the shelter environment. We just started leash-training with him and he's doing better, but he still needs help. Right now, the big, wide world is a brand new classroom for Everest, he is looking for a patient guide to help him learn how to be a dog in the real world. Because everything is so fresh and exciting, he needs a little help figuring out everyday things-like how paws work on leash, what all those strange neighborhood noises are, and how to channel his puppy energy into adult-hood manners. He's lived with and met other dogs and has done well meeting them. If you're looking for a dog who needs a little extra help, Everest is the one for you! He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $185 to bring home! If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458.
