'Ashton.' 8 months old, 25 pounds Meet Ashton! Oh, this precious little boy! Ashton came into the shelter with his sister, Artemis, and both are a little overwhelmed by their new surroundings. And who could blame them? The shelter is a big, scary place for two young pups! Ashton is a sweet, tender little fellow who can be unsure at first but warms up quickly. He really enjoys playing with other doggies, but here's the adorable part. He hasn't quite figured out how to initiate play! He needs another doggy to coax him into it, and once they do, it's GAME ON! Suddenly, he's all wiggly, silly, playful puppy! It's absolutely precious to watch. He walks pretty well on leash, although he can be a little darty. He waits to potty outside, takes treats gently, and has the CUTEST little underbite you ever did see! Ashton just needs a little patience, reassurance, and a loving home where he can feel safe. Once that happens, this sweet boy is going to blossom into the happy, playful puppy he's meant to be.
