About Naru

Once upon a time, in a bustling shelter hallway, a pair of bright, soulful eyes looked up with pure hope. This is Naru, a beautiful pup with a golden-tan coat, a striking black muzzle, and a tail that never stops wagging. While the shelter walls can be loud and scary, Naru chooses to see the world through a lens of absolute joy. Every time a volunteer walks past his kennel, Naru sits politely, flashes his signature wide, pink-tongued smile, and tilts his head as if to say, 'Is today the day my forever family finds me?' Naru is a master of transitions. Out in the yard, he is an enthusiastic partner for a game of fetch, showing off his goofy, playful stride. But the moment you sit down, his gentle side takes over. He will lean his soft head right into your lap, exhaling a deep sigh of contentment that lets you know you are his favorite person in the world.
