About Melody

Melody is a sweet little Dachshund mix with a gentle soul and a calm, easygoing nature. She's a lovely walking companion who strolls at a leisurely pace, walks nicely on leash without pulling, and is always happy to explore her surroundings one sniff at a time. She's easy to handle and doesn't ask for much beyond a little kindness and affection. Melody can be a bit nervous, so she'll appreciate a patient person who lets her build confidence at her own pace. But who wouldn't be nervous after being abandoned alongside two other dogs (Rayna and Benjamin). Despite her nerves she loves being pet. She's not interested in toys, but she's perfectly content doing her own thing and soaking up some gentle affection along the way. Melody deserves a fresh start with someone who will help her feel safe and loved.
