About Suka

Hi, my name is Suka, and I'm an 8-year-old black and white Siberian Husky with beautiful blue eyes and an even sweeter heart. I may be a little shy and timid when we first meet, but please don't let that fool you. Once I realize I'm safe, I open up and become the gentle, loving boy I truly am. I love people, kids, other dogs, and believe it or not�'�| I even like cats! I'll give them a few curious sniffs, say hello, and then I'm perfectly happy sharing my space with them. One of my favorite things is going for walks. I'm a very good boy on leash, although sometimes an especially interesting smell might convince me we need to stop and investigate. A little reminder is all I need, and I'm right back on track. I'm completely housebroken and absolutely love being outside, especially when I can stretch out in the sunshine and enjoy the day. But what I love most is simply being close to my people. I'm perfectly content lying beside you on the couch, curling up near you at home, or even cuddling with you in bed. Crates really aren't my favorite, and I can get a little anxious when my people leave. Having another dog around helps me feel safe and less alone, so I would be happiest in a home with a canine companion. I could also be a wonderful match for someone who works from home, is retired, or simply spends a lot of time at home and wants a loyal best friend by their side. At 8 years old, I'm past the wild puppy stage. What I'm looking for now is something simple: a family who will love me, make me feel safe, and promise that this time, home really means forever. I have so much love left to give. I'm just waiting for the person or family who will look into these blue eyes and realize I've been waiting for them too.
