About Dolly

Meet Dolly- Dolly is a beautiful 3 year old Bloodhound. She is dog, kid, and people friendly, but does NOT like cats. Dolly was surrendered by her previous owners because she didn't have a fenced yard, has a high prey drive and likes to follow her nose. For her safety, Dolly must have a containment fenced yard. She has lived inside, and been part of a family. As the family grew, Dolly got less time and never became fully house trained. Since being with us, she will tinkle in her kennel sometimes, but that's all. Dolly is a quick learner. She now walks on a leash and knows the command 'sit'. She is treat motivated and loves interacting with our staff. Dolly is fully vetted, weighs 76lbs, spayed, Heart-worm negative, chipped, and ready to find her forever home. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes.
