She is hoping to find a home for Love Bug where she can have the time and attention she deserves. She has tried other rescues and groups but has not had any luck. Name: Love Bug Age: DOB 12/25/25 Breed: American Bully (20 pounds, double merle) Sex: Female (not spayed) Location: Lincoln County, Maine Vet Info: Love Bug is not spayed. Per her owner, she is current with vaccinations. She weighs about 20 pounds. Dog Info: Love Bug is an outdoor dog with a fenced yard. She is not housebroken or leash trained. She knows the command, sit! Love Bug is described as nervous and shy. She's a friendly little girl and per her owner, she is good with men, women, and children. We're told she's also good with male and female dogs (she lives with many other dogs) and would likely be fine with cats. Love Bug is a very sweet girl and has never shown any aggression. Her owner tells us she's 'very submissive'. She is not possessive of treats, toys, or food. Love Bug's owner feels she adapts well to new situations and writes, 'With encouragement she does well, better if there's an older calmer dog to 'guide' her. She is highly motivated by treats also.' She also gave us additional details about Love Bug's health and vision: 'She is a good girl, have both parents here, she is very small and likely will not reach 30lbs. Been healthy outside of visual impairment....She is a double merle with small and likely under developed eyes. I do think she can see shadows of sorts but otherwise nothing.' Love Bug's owner wants us to know what a sweet and special girl she is! She writes, 'She has been with other dogs and is fine with them but prefers dogs that are not hyper. My daughter has a senior dog that she did very well with. I have a 9 year old daughter who she has also been raised with.' **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
