About Missy

URGENT FOSTER/ADOPTER NEEDED! A couple of years ago, Kareen, the owner of this boarding facility, unexpectedly passed away. She had a heart for the forgotten ones. The dogs nobody came back for. The dogs abandoned by their owners. The dogs dumped nearby or tied to her fence like they were nothing more than trash. But to Kareen, they were NEVER trash. They were living, breathing souls who deserved love, kindness, and a chance. She refused to turn her back on them. She refused to send them to shelters where their lives could be cut short. She gave them a safe place when the world had already given up on them. BUT ONE MAN REFUSED TO WALK AWAY. His name is Jorge. Jorge worked alongside Kareen for more than 15 years. When she passed away, he could have walked away. He could have decided these dogs were someone else's problem. BUT HE STAYED. He stayed for the dogs who had already been abandoned. THIS IS WHERE WE NEED YOU. Jennifer with Pumpkin Pawz Rescue has known Kareen and this facility for years. Kareen would often reach out to Jennifer for help finding homes for dogs abandoned in her care. Please contact Jennifer with Pumpkin Pawz Rescue if you can foster or better yet adopt this lovely 4 year old Belgian Malinois, Missy. (714) 366-8170'|TEXT IS BEST. Kareen spent her life saving the dogs nobody wanted. Jorge has spent years keeping her compassion alive. NOW IT'S OUR TURN TO MAKE SURE HER LEGACY DOESN'T END IN TRAGEDY.
