About Bodie

This great smile belongs to Bodie, a 2 years old Border Collie mix who weighs 43 pounds. Bodie is all that you would expect. Smart, fun, active. He has learned heel, sit, paw, down and stay and would love a home that keeps him learning. He is also house trained. Bodie is good with people, including older kids. He isn't a fit for small kids. Bodie is good with other dogs, large and small. He currently lives with a big dog and does well. He has also been nice meeting other neighborhood dogs. For dogs who like to start play, he will typically join in. Plus, this boy is good with cats! Bodie is going to be a wonderful adventure partner. He is already good in a car and good on leash. He could use a little help remembering not to pull on leash. Bodie is a typical herder so his new home should understand that herders need activity as well as mental stimulation. This boy isnt a couch potato�'�|.at least not until the day's fun is all over. When the fun is done, Bodie is a love bug! He's a great cuddler and you can tell by the expressions on his face that he's eager to please. He is total best friend material for a home who knows how to keep a herder physically and mentally engaged. Bodie is neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. He is located in Santee, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. We do not ship dogs. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
