About Sadie

Meet Sadie! Sadie is a German shepherd mix around 3 years old. She is a shelter rescue-gentle, calm, and loving and would thrive in a place where she can have her people home but still find a quiet space for herself. She is always down for a bone and loves walks! She can be playful and get the zoomies, but Sadie's natural disposition is more mellow. She is house trained and doesn't need to be taken out at night, but she is terrified of kennels/crates and shows anxious signs around other dogs. We are rehoming because she is stressed around our young children (15 months and 3 years) and has signs of separation anxiety. She is fabulous with our older kids (5 and 9). She has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. She is heartworm positive but still has plenty of energy and has begun treatment in the form of slow-kill medication as recommended by her vet, who thinks she will be happy and healthy in no time!
