About Otis

Meet Otis!! A 1 year old catahoula Shepard mix. Otis is all black with some tan color and pointy ears like a Shepard��%BD'��%BD| Otis is not fixed or up to date on shots due to some family struggles in the home..he loves to play in the fenced in back with his siblings and mother, he also is one of the biggest cuddle bugs you will find. He is ok with my cats but with street cats no so I honestly don't know how he would be meeting a new one. He is ok with our female dog and our 17 year old chihuahua but does tend to try to fight both his brothers sometimes. Otis does have a crate he goes in when left home unsupervised. However sometimes he get a bit anxious and bites the cage and tries to escape but there are a majority of time I can just say 'load up' and he just goes right in no issue no fuss. The worst time is when it's feed time that's when he's most anxious! Otis enjoys belly rubs and laying next to our 8 month old daughter who he absolutely adores.. but do to my work schedule, my wife's recent leg injury and Otis and his brother not getting along it's time he gets a second chance somewhere else. Otis loves to be out of his crate stretched out on the bed. But do to him and his brother not getting along I have to alternate crate time. And that is not how I want his life to be. He's happy 90% of the time and he deserve to stay happy. If he can get the proper training this boy would be the best companion. I know because he has become my sidekick. Everywhere I go in the house Otis follows and if I'm standing still he's Standing behind me head between my legs.. so someone please give this boy a chance he deserves it and I want nothing but the best for him!
