About Butterball

Meet Butterball (A292652)! Butterball is at Pinal County Animal Care & Control in Casa Grande, AZ, and has been waiting for a loving home since August 11, 2026. Butterball is a big, handsome 7-year-old boy weighing 100 pounds, with an even BIGGER heart! Don't let his size fool you. This lovable guy is an absolute sweetheart with a wonderful personality and so much love to give! Butterball is a friendly, affectionate boy who knows his basic commands, enjoys going for walks, and absolutely LOVES getting scratches and attention. He's got great manners, plenty of charm, and a personality that will make you smile! And here's something adorable about Butterball. He recently discovered the water trough in the shelter yard and decided it was the perfect place to take a swim! This big guy certainly knows how to have fun! Butterball arrived at the shelter as a stray, and it's hard to imagine how such a wonderful dog ended up without a family looking for him. He deserves to spend his days enjoying walks, relaxing in a comfortable home, and being loved by a family of his own. At 7 years old, Butterball has so much love and companionship left to give. He's ready to trade kennel life for a soft bed, plenty of affection, and a forever home where he can be his big, sweet self! If you have other dogs or children at home, the shelter recommends bringing them for a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone is a good match. Please don't overlook this lovable big guy! Come meet Butterball. You just might fall in love with all 100 pounds of him! Pinal County Animal Care & Control 1150 S.
