About Oreo

Oreo: Smart, Devoted Cattle Dog Mix Seeking Experienced, Adult-Only Home ~3 yrs, male, Australian Cattle Dog mix. Fully vaccinated, labs and exams current, excellent health. Oreo is a classic heeler: brilliant, loyal, and happiest with a job to do. He loves long walks and training, and he's sweet and goofy once he trusts you. His herding instinct shows up as nipping, and he resource guards his adults. He has never bitten anyone. He also has separation anxiety, is an escape artist, and is reactive to some dogs and people. He needs an experienced, adult-only home with someone around most of the day, and he'll do best as the only dog. We've done reactivity training, an anxiety consult, vet-guided medication, and plenty of daily walks. Records available, and we'd welcome a meet-and-greet with experienced cattle dog people.
