About Gretel

MEET GRETEL - READY FOR HER FOREVER HOME! Gretel is a beautiful approximately 2-year-old female Red Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog mix with a sweet personality and so much love to give! Gretel and her brother Hansel were found in the Cajon Pass in September 2025, where they survived on their own in the harsh elements for weeks before we were finally able to locate them and bring them to safety. Hansel has found his forever home, and now it's Gretel's turn! Gretel is doing absolutely wonderful in her foster home! She LOVES other dogs AND cats and would make a wonderful addition to a loving family, especially one with other furry companions. This sweet girl has come such a long way from her days of struggling to survive in the Cajon Pass. She's safe, she's thriving, and she's ready to leave foster life behind for a forever home of her very own. Gretel is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready for adoption. Gretel is located in Southern California and can be transported to neighboring states and the PNW. If you're looking for a sweet, loving canine companion, Gretel may be the girl you've been waiting for! Apply to adopt Gretel at angelsnpaws.com.
