We have a 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was originally rescued from a Mennonite farm. He was subsequently placed with a family where young children accidentally dropped him on his head more than once. He struggled with training and needed approximately twice the normal training period. Our 23-year-old son became his primary person and spent a tremendous amount of time with him, but recently started working full-time and no longer has the same availability. He has a history of food aggression, and more recently has begun attacking our 16-year-old one-eyed dog without food being involved. We are keeping them completely separated because our elderly dog's safety has to come first. We love this dog and are not looking to dump him-we are desperately trying to find a safe temporary or foster placement while we figure out what is best for everyone. Im reaching out to ask if you of any solutions or what direction to head
