About Kalie

Meet Kalie, a beautiful cream-colored Catahoula girl looking for her forever family. She's a sweet, cuddly dog who loves attention, and nothing makes her happier than snuggling up with her person at the end of the day. She's smart, affectionate, and wants to be right by your side. About her: - Female, 3 years old, spayed and microchipped - Lives with two other dogs and does phenomenally. She loves to play when her fur siblings can keep up with her energy! - Good with kids, unknown with cats - Knows sit and is ready to learn more with the right person What she needs: Kalie is a classic Catahoula through and through. She's a true working breed who's happiest when she has a purpose, plenty of attention, and a way to focus her energy. With that, she'll settle in as a loyal, loving companion who's ready to curl up with you once the day's work is done. Her ideal home is one of these: - An only-dog home with active owners who love hiking, long walks, and getting outdoors, and who will make her part of the adventure. - A working home where she has a real job, like hunting or farm work. Other dogs are fine in this setting. Good to know: She's an escape artist and a digger, so she needs a secure fence that's reinforced along the bottom. If left to her own devices, she'll also help herself to your plants and flower pots, so keep the garden off-limits when she's unsupervised.
