About Theo

We are heartbroken to be searching for our dog's next home. Unfortunately, Theo has not gotten along with our 1 y/o toddler and due to safety concerns, we have made the hard decision to look for his next loving home. Theo is everyone's best friend! Sometimes shy and timid at first, but warms up quick. He's house trained, smart, and a quick learner. Cuddly dog who will follow you around, curl up by your feet, or sit on your lap. He loves going on walks, occasional play, but most of all, being by your side. We originally rescued Theo from a shelter when he was 1 y/o. Before then, he lived in a dirt pen hoarding situation with a group of other dogs. During this time, we believe he developed some behavioral issues (including resource guarding around food and attention). For this reason, we're looking for a home without another dog, nor young children. Our ideal adopter would be someone who is home a lot and needs a therapy dog to shower them with lots of love and affection!
