About Taz

Adoption Fee: $600
French Bulldog / Pekingese
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

TAZ is looking for his forever home. Taz was rescued from Downey shelter on his euthanasia date by Callies Canine Rescue and is currently in foster. %90%BE 3-5 year old Frenchie mix (DNA includes Frenchie, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, and Tibeten Spaniel) %90%BE Located in Ventura County %90%BE Friendly, goofy guy %90%BE Perfect underbite %90%BE Potty-trained %90%BE Crate trained %90%BE Loves walks, car rides %90%BELoves booty scratches and belly rubs %90%BE Treat motivated and eager to learn - knows sit, learning 'touch', 'wait', 'leave it', 'drop it' %9D No cats %9D Dog selective - gets along with our female chihuahua but not our male. Has successfully met other dogs at adoption events. %9D Can be resource guarding with food/treats He has a lot to say and could use some firm but positive training to help him learn to appreciate the quiet times. He loves to be with people and it's been hard for him to be restricted to one area of our home. He has mild allergies, so takes a Zyrtec daily. Zero other current issues typically seen in Frenchies. We have been fostering Taz on behalf of Callies Canine Rescue. Our home has two dogs and two cats, as well as older teens. We would love to adopt Taz ourselves but we have to consider our current fur babies. One has cancer and is declining from the stress. Taz also deserves a forever home and family. He deserves more than partial access to a home. He deserves a family who can and will love him to the fullest. He's not a good fit for us but I know he's perfect for someone. Could that be you? Please message me if you have any questions about Taz, or if interested in adopting, visit his Petfinder page https://bit.ly/4qRSqZb You can also find out more about him on our IG wy_guy_and_molls If you are not in a position to adopt, please consider sharing this post - so many Frenchies are in need of a family it's hard for him to stand out as the amazing kid he is.
