About Kai

Kai was surrendered to the rescue as a litter surrender. He is up to date on all of his shots and is microchipped. He has no known health issues. However he is not neutered and a spay/neuter contract will need to be signed to adopt him to ensure the safety of the pup. The Havaton is a low-shedding mix of a Havanese and Coton de Tulear known for its affectionate, playful, and friendly personality. They are great with children and other pets and make wonderful companions for first-time dog owners. They enjoy playing around the house or yard and going for short walks with their family. They respond best to gentle, positive training with lots of praise and treats and should not be encouraged to bark excessively. Their coat should be brushed several times a week and professionally groomed about every 8 weeks to keep it healthy and free of mats.
