About Iris

Iris was surrendered to the rescue as a litter surrender. She is up to date on all of her shots and she is microchipped. She has no known health issues. However she is not spayed and a spay/neuter contract will need to be signed to adopt her to ensure the safety of the pup. The Teddy Bear is a low-shedding mix of a Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise known for its playful, affectionate, and easygoing personality. They are great with children and other pets and make wonderful companions for first-time dog owners. They enjoy playing, running around the house or yard, and going for short walks. They respond best to consistent, positive training with lots of praise and treats. Their soft, wavy coat should be brushed several times a week and professionally groomed about every 8 weeks to keep it healthy and free of mats.
