Clifton is the absolute definition of a gentle giant-and the ultimate 70+ pound lap dog in the making. He has come a tremendously long way in rescue, and while he started off as a very nervous boy, his confidence is growing stronger every single day. Clifton is a goofy, lovable soul who is constantly discovering new joys. His absolute favorite thing in the world is his tennis ball-he isn't entirely sure how fetch works yet, but carrying it around and showing it off brings out his pure, endearing silliness! Beneath his gentle shyness is a dog with so much love to give, just waiting for the right person to help him shine. His ideal home would be a quiet, slow-paced home with an open heart and patience to help him build confidence. A fenced yard is ideal for his comfort, though he can adapt as he continues to thrive. If you're ready to open your heart to a quiet, soulful boy who will reward your patience with endless affection, Clifton is ready to meet you!
