About Fawn

Fawn is a red nose blue nose mix. She came from a litter of 15. She's 3 years old. Her birthday is May 23rd. She loves to play and loves to run.She loves tennis balls and playing tug of war. She loves to shred toys. She loves to be comfy and cozy with pillows and blankets. She is a water dog and loves to be in the water. She is still working on her swimming skills. She doesn't seem to understand what a kayak or motorcycles are and will bark at them and try to get people off of them. I believe she thinks she's trying to save them. She loves sticks and makes great kindling for your fire. She loves to go camping and loves fishing. She will try to catch the fish with you. She loves to run especially after she hoes to the bathroom. She loves to snuggle and hug. She's licks like crazy and will sneak in licks in the goofiest ways. She's only ever been on one dog food brand, Whole Hearted. She LOVES pumpkin and blueberries as a treat. Does not care for bananas or strawberries. She also moans when she's really enjoying her food. She does have a lot of anxiety. She gets very nervous around people she doesn't know. She's more wary of men than she is a woman but she's wonderful with children. She doesn't always know how big she is I believe she's a lapdog. She needs to be introduced to other animals when meeting them but she hasn't had any issues as long as she gets to know them. She loves to play with other dogs and she thinks cats are also dogs and tries to initiate play with them but she'll still cuddle with the cats. She does chase chickens. She's never hurt another animal. She's never bitten or nipped at another person. She's a very big barker when she's anxious. When she's calm and relax she is a very calm temperament. She does have some medical issues currently. Within the last year she started a peeing behavior. Which is caused her to have multiple UTIs. She does have a little bit of a skin problem but it's very mild. She is kennel trained and knows it as her bedroom. Due to her medical and my medical I am unable to continue care for her. She needs a good home that she can run and play. She has had basic training though will try to shake hands for every treat. Especially if it's something she really wants, like she wants to make a deal with you. She needs someone who is willing to work with her and her anxious behaviors.
