I want to be completely transparent about Adina's behavior so you know exactly what to expect. She has never harmed or attempted to harm anyone in our home. When new people come over, she's actually extremely excited to see them - she barks, jumps up and has a hard time settling herself down, but her tail and whole butt are usually wagging the entire time. She really needs work on manners and learning how to regulate all that excitement. She's also gotten much better about being overly excited and rough when playing with her puppies. Her biggest behavioral challenge is specifically outside on a leash. She is very leash-reactive and can bark, pull and lunge when she sees people or other dogs. I don't want to minimize that, because whoever adopts her needs to be prepared to manage it responsibly and continue working with her. She is willing to wear a muzzle on walks, which is a really helpful safety measure while she's being trained. She's made a lot of progress since we rescued her, but she still needs someone willing to continue her training, especially outdoors. I just want to be completely upfront so we can make sure she's going to someone who understands her and is a good fit for her.
