About Courage

Courage hasn't found his owners since arriving a week ago, nor has he found the 'courage' to open up & try to make new friends to help him find a home ٪%81 Courage was picked up by Animal Control Officers on 10/12/26 after being found near Palo Verde Ave & Carson St on the Heartwell Golf Course. Courage's entrance to the shelter involved him crying & whining in a truck, followed by being carried into his kennel where he has a hard time mustering up enough courage to walk around the property. With no mom & dad coming to claim Courage through his stray hold, he's now going to need our help to find a patient person to provide him a safe place to call home. The shelter has tried various forms of enrichment and rehabilitation to help encourage Courage cope to his new surroundings and have the ability to be a loyal companion pet for adoption, but despite the amount of time staff & volunteers have invested in Courage he remains a shut down and defeated dog. Courage is currently on the shelter urgent list & available for rescue or special-needs adoption.
