About DENALI

enali is a handsome 5-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a beautiful white coat and a wonderfully gentle nature. He's quite the lumbering giant with a calm, very low-energy personality. He loves leisurely walks and seems perfectly happy just taking life at an easy pace. He has lived with other dogs and does well in the shelter's playgroups, although he may need a little time to warm up to new canine friends. Denali would thrive in a calm home with a securely fenced yard where he can enjoy plenty of space to roam, explore, patrol, and protect, much like typical guardian livestock dogs enjoy doing. He would do best with someone who will give him the time and reassurance he needs to feel safe and comfortable. He can occasionally overreact when scared or in an unfamiliar situation, but underneath that uncertainty is a sweet, gentle boy who just needs a little patience and lots of love.
