We are looking to re-home Marla because she is not good with our other dog. We rescued Marla from River Rouge Animal Shelter in June of 2026 and have had her ever since. She was previously surrendered to the shelter, from what we know, due to 'escaping the yard' too much and got pregnant. From what we know she is 2 years old, 50 lbs, brown and white Dalmatian. She is up to date on her shots and is spayed. She is crate trained and potty trained. She does know sit, stay (needs more work), down, drop (working on it). She does not understand personal space with her humans. Marla is such a lover dog with humans. She would likely do better with older kids if there are kids in the house. We have a 2 year old and she has not hurt her, however for precautions we'd suggest older kids. She has not been good around other animals; needs to be the only animal in the house. Marla loves walks but needs work with distractions, such as seeing other dogs and decreasing eye contact with them. She does need some training on personal space, haha; she's just a big cuddle dog and likes all of the attention.
