Biscuit is an Idaho Shagg, it is a working breed. This decision was not taken lightly, its been a difficult and hard decision but I want to do whats best for the dog and what he required. I got him as a bearded collie which he is not. He has been an amazing dog, has been to doggy day care(currently there is not a dog day care close enough to take him) and gets along well with other dogs, we have a cat in the home and he is good with the cat. He has been around the grandkids and done well, due to his size I would recommend kids over the age of 7. I have taken him through several obedience classes, he has been to Home Depot and Scheels for class. We walk up to 2 miles almost everyday. His good qualities, he loves everyone, loves water and swimming is ball obsessed, rides well in the truck and is good on the leash. He is respectful of furniture, does not chew and is crate trained.Biscuit is a very sensitve dog regarding correction, meaning it doesn't take much to easily correct him for something. He knows the commands sit, down, off, wait, slow, load up, go find. Qualities we are working on, he gets overly excited with company and still wants to jump. Since he is a working dog, he does required consistent daily exercise. He is not an apartment dog. If bored he will dig. The only reason he is being rehomed is due to my current and upcoming travel schedule he needs consistent exercise and due to my age/health that is getting harder to manage.
