About Luna

It breaks my heart to even have to write this, but I want to find the perfect forever home for my sweet girl, Luna. This is not a decision I am making lightly. Since moving, I have been away from home much more often, and Luna deserves more time, attention, affection, and companionship than I am currently able to give her. She deserves to be loved unconditionally, to feel safe and secure, and to have a family who can give her all the love she has to offer in return. Luna is a truly beautiful girl with such a sweet and gentle side. She has done well with our dogs, cats, and children. She is potty trained, well-behaved, and incredibly gentle when offered food or a treat. She has so many wonderful qualities, and I want her next home to be one where she is cherished as part of the family, not just a dog who lives there. She deserves cuddles, companionship, patience, playtime, and people who will love her through every season of life. I also want to be completely transparent about an incident involving a neighbor's dog. On one occasion, Luna was off leash when the neighbor's dog was walking by, and Luna went after that dog. I cannot say what triggered the behavior, and it has not happened again, but I believe it is important for any potential adopter to know. Her new family should take this seriously, use responsible leash management, and be willing to work with her on appropriate introductions and behavior around other dogs. Despite that incident, Luna is a very sweet girl, and I believe she deserves the opportunity to find a home that is the right fit for her. I want someone who will see her as a family member, make her a priority, and give her the patience, care, and unconditional love every dog deserves. There is a small fee that will be directed to this rescue page as it is not advised to have no fee. But the fee will go to this great site. My main priority is finding Luna a safe, loving, responsible home where she will be cared for and treasured for the rest of her life. I am not looking to make money from her. I simply want to know that she is going somewhere she will be loved and looked after.
