We are looking to responsibly rehome our dog, Spike, and are hoping to find a rescue or experienced home that can help us find the best possible outcome for him. %9D%A4%8F Spike is a Belgian Malinois who will be turning 1 year old on November 15th. He is currently unfixed and has received his first set of vaccinations. Unfortunately, due to our family's current circumstances, we have made the difficult decision that rehoming him is what is best for both him and our family. We have three young children, including our medically complex daughter, who requires frequent medical appointments, hospital visits, and a significant amount of care and attention. With everything going on, we are struggling to give Spike the time, exercise, structure, and consistent training that a young Belgian Malinois needs. We understand that this breed is intelligent, energetic, and requires a lot of physical activity, mental stimulation, and training. We want Spike to have the opportunity to thrive in an environment where his needs can be met and where he can receive the attention he deserves. This decision has not been easy, and we love him very much, but we recognize that we cannot currently provide the lifestyle he needs. We are hoping to find a safe, loving, and responsible placement with someone who understands the breed and is committed to giving him the best life possible. We would greatly appreciate any help, resources, or recommendations for a reputable rescue or suitable home. Our priority is making sure Spike is safe and has the opportunity to thrive. %9D%A4%8F
