This dog was dumped down in San Benito, Texas near La Posada Providencia. This is a shelter for undocumented or unhoused humans. One of the staff found the dog wandering alone near their property. Unfortunately, they can't keep him for obvious reasons. Sister Nora is the only one trying to get to a safe place where he can find a family of his own. He is approximately 6 mos old and unnuetered. He is very friendly and good with the children and adults on living on the property. The sisters have taken in three other little dogs that were dumped out there but can't keep this one because of how big he will get. But he plays with and gets along with the other dogs. His time is running out. They have tried the local Rescue groups but Have not heard back. If they don't find a place soon, this poor baby will be taken to a shelter where he will be put down through no fault if his own. I am trying to help find him a safe place to land before that happens because I have a big heart for animal's. It will break my heart if I hear he was put down. I am willing to facilitate getting him somewhere if someone can take him in. Please help. He's a beautiful little soul that doesn't deserve to be put down through no fault of his own. Please help. I know this is going to take a Hail Mary. But sometimes a miracle is needed. It would be an answer to a lot of prayers for this little guy. He doesn't even have a name. I think Sister Nora is calling him Wolfie, for the time being. Thank you.
