[Read About Natural Seizure Care] PLEASE READ. We are heartbroken to think about rehoming our girl. After weeks of behavioral training, altering her daily routine, and constant supervision she is just not a safe pet to have around our 1 year old daughter. Charlotte is fiercely loyal and makes the perfect lap companion. She loves all kinds of food, undivided attention, and squeaky toys she can play fetch with. She is truly a sweet and wonderful dog, we just cannot trust her around children and we can tell she is no longer comfortable in a home with a baby. She is inherently nervous and anxious. She is known to resource guard her people and her food. For this reason, she is probably best as an only pet in the home. She does well with other dogs in new settings, but I would recommend her meeting them first. She does have a mild seizure disorder (2-3 per year) that we treat with Ellevet CBD treats. We would give her new home our entire supply. The vet did say she could switch to Keppra if Ellevet became too costly. Her ideal situation would be a single or couple that has no children in their home and a big couch with a blanket she can burrow into. We just want to make sure she is somewhere she can relax, feel loved, and feel safe.
