Bonded Cockatiel Pair Looking for Home Our family is looking to rehome a bonded pair of cockatiels (male and female). They've been with us for a few years, and while they are doing fine, we feel they deserve more attention and engagement than we're able to give them. We'd love for them to live in a bird-loving household where their presence can make someone very happy. They are a bonded pair and must stay together. About them: - Male + female cockatiels, 4 and 5 years old - Healthy, active, and accustomed to normal family activity - Gizmo is an elegant flying lady; Toes is her Air Traffic Controller - Toes has deformed toes and one short wing, so he's not much of a flyer - They enjoy their cage views: windows and TV are favorites - They like being on a person, though they are not cuddly birds - Toes whistles 'Saturday' by Earth, Wind & Fire for attention - Gizmo has a distinct mating song that becomes a familiar part of the house - An egg has appeared from time to time They would do best in a home with someone who: - Has experience with birds (or has done serious research) - Understands that cockatiels are social, vocal, and a bit dusty - Is committed to giving them regular interaction and a stable environment (br/)We're not in a rush. We want to find the right home. We're happy to include their current setup (cages, food, etc.) to make the transition easier.
