(DOB 09/22/2026) Due to Sapphire's young age, she has not been spayed yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC). This sweet little gem is as bright as the gorgeous stone she's named for and ready to add some sparkle to your family! Full of puppy charm, curiosity, and playful energy, Sapphire is ready for fun-filled adventures, silly antics, and plenty of love. Sapphire needs a playful canine sibling to be her buddy and help show her the ropes. She may do well with dog-savvy cats when introduced properly, and older kids are the best match for her bouncy puppy energy and occasional playful nibbles. A securely fenced yard would be a wonderful bonus for safe zoomies and outdoor exploring! Sapphire is looking for a family with time for positive-reinforcement training, potty and crate training, fun walks to socialize, and all the patience it takes to help a puppy grow into a wonderful companion. Remember puppies are both a lot of love and also need someone willing to give them a lot of time and attention. If you're ready for puppy kisses, happy adventures, and a little extra sparkle in your life, Sapphire might just be your precious gem! As part of Sapphire's $325 adoption fee, she will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered. If you have questions about this sweet girl, you can email: [email protected]. If you wish to adopt Sapphire, you can complete an application online for her under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
