About Buttercup

Adopt Buttercup!! Breed: Bichon Frise Gender: Female Age: 3 years old Weight: 10 lbs Vetted and Spayed Fence Required: Yes Location: Columbus / Powell Buttercup is a 3 years old Bichon Frise mom. She is friendly and very polite. She is independent and likes to have her own personal space but yet love to be petted. She is making excellent progress at house training and she is fantastic walking with a leash on. She is also great with crate, she actually prefers it a lot of time. One word to describe Buttercup would be that she is a Caretaker. She loves to be around other dogs in the same home and cuddles around them as if they are her own pups. She tends to lean towards other fellow companion dogs due to her natural motherhood attribute. She is better suited in a quieter home with a few mature and calmer dogs with less hyper energy. Buttercup is still a little timid around human faces, so it will require some patience and time for her to adjust and break out of her shell. She loves to take naps in her bed, but would pace around and explore every corner of the house whenever she can too. She also loves to be outside exploring in the yard, so fence is preferred or required. She is gradually decompressing and becoming more comfortable as she adjusts to the new environment. With each passing day, we are seeing more and more of her personality emerge as she becomes increasingly comfortable and trusting. With continued time, patience, and love, we are confident that she will come out of shell completely and truly flourish. She is a tiny fur ball mommy who is ready to be accepted into her new family and take on everything that they have to offer.
