This is Bailey, our beautiful Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Making the decision to find her a new home has been incredibly difficult, but we believe she deserves an environment where she can truly feel safe, relaxed, and happy. Bailey is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. Unfortunately, she struggles with significant anxiety that has progressively worsened. We've worked extensively with our veterinarian, tried medications, behavioral therapy, and crate training, but despite our best efforts, her anxiety continues to affect her daily quality of life. Our home is a busy one, with other dogs, cats, and foster animals. We've come to believe that the activity and stimulation of our household simply aren't what Bailey needs to thrive. More recently, Bailey has begun displaying aggression toward our cats, so we feel strongly that a home without cats or other small animals would be best. Ideally, we're looking for a quiet, stable, adult household, preferably where she can be the only pet, with someone who has experience caring for anxious dogs. Bailey isn't a bad dog. She's a loving dog who struggles with a world that sometimes feels overwhelming to her. We want nothing more than to give her the opportunity to enjoy a calmer, happier life. We're located in the Dayton, Ohio area and are committed to finding the right home for Bailey, not simply the first available one. If you believe you could offer Bailey the peaceful, patient, loving home she deserves, we'd love to talk with you.
