About Cookie

Seeks an adoption path for Cookie, a sweet 10-year-old Collie mix who's owner suffered a major injury and can no longer care for her. She is super sweet once she gets comfortable with her people and is very food-motivated, which makes bonding and routines really straightforward. She'd love to have someone who is home and she can sit near all day long. Her different colored eyes are adorable. She's a good car rider, too. She likely needs to be the only pet (no dogs or cats) and would do best in a quiet, female-only home or with a patient owner, as she can be picky around men. She has lived with another dog, but must be the alpha, and can get food and leash aggressive. She does great on a predictable potty schedule, but needs someone home often enough to keep that consistent so she doesn't have accidents. Something like 3 outings a day is likely sufficient.
